Education
Faculty members in the Department of Bioethics collaborate in curriculum planning and delivery at all levels of medical education, from the undergraduate MD program, through postgraduate training, to CME and faculty development. The Department also collaborates across campus in training the next generation of bioethicists.
Dr. Lynette Reid coordinates our engagement in the medical curriculum. If you are a clinical educator, program director, Unit or Component Head, Unit Chair or case author, please contact her to inquire about support the Bioethics Department offers:
- Assistance in developing a case and discussion questions for your own teaching
- Collaboration in case-writing for COPS
- Assistance in identifying ethics learning objectives and designing evaluation for Units or Components
- Speakers you may invite for rounds, journal club, or other educational sessions
- Collaboration in curriculum development and delivery for your program
Please note that the Department of Bioethics does not currently offer a formal Masters or PhD program in Bioethics.
