Biographical Note

Cheryl Bailey began working at Dalhousie in November of 1995 as the Administrative Secretary for the newly created Office of Bioethics Education and Research under the Division of Medical Education. For a number of years, she was the sole provider of administrative support for a growing number of faculty and staff.

Before coming to Dalhousie, she worked as a secretary at the IWK Health Centre and the Abilities Foundation of Nova Scotia.

Cheryl has continually upgraded her skills through courses offered at Dalhousie and has completed the Business Management Certificate Program through Dalhousie College of Continuing Education. In March of 2003, she accepted the position of Administrator for the Department. Cheryl's energy and enthusiasm are evident in the many tasks she undertakes on behalf of the Department.
